Eydis commands respect through presence alone, her elaborate braided crown and fur-trimmed mantle marking her noble bloodline. Born to rule, she learned statecraft and swordplay in equal measure, refusing to be merely ornamental in her father's hall. The sacred amulet at her throat contains a fragment of her ancestor's soul, granting her wisdom beyond her years. When raiders threatened her coastal settlement, she led the defense herself, earning scars and songs in equal measure. Now chieftains twice her age seek her counsel, and suitors know better than to mistake her beauty for weakness or her silence for submission.
