Mystery Club Subscription Terms

Effective date  14 September 2026

These terms apply to the Maximum Minis Large-Scale Mystery Club. They supplement the general Terms and Conditions, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy. If these Subscription Terms conflict with the general terms on a matter specific to the Mystery Club, these Subscription Terms apply.

1  The subscription

The Mystery Club is a recurring monthly subscription available only for delivery to Australian addresses. Membership costs $89.99 AUD per monthly billing cycle and includes standard Australian shipping for the monthly Mystery Club parcel.

2  What each monthly selection includes

• a curated premium large-scale model selection supplied unpainted in resin

• models measuring or scaled at 75mm or larger

• a minimum normal Maximum Minis retail value of $98 at the time the selection is prepared

• most monthly parcels containing one substantial display model, while selected parcels may contain two or more 75mm-or-larger figures

• printing, curing, support removal, inspection and protective packaging before dispatch

The precise contents, character, designer, genre, dimensions and number of models are selected by Maximum Minis and remain a surprise unless expressly stated otherwise.

3  Eligibility and delivery address

You must provide and maintain an Australian delivery address and be legally capable of entering a recurring payment agreement. The Mystery Club is not currently offered for New Zealand or other international delivery. If you move, update your delivery details before the next renewal and contact us if a parcel is already being prepared.

4  Automatic monthly renewal

The subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled. By joining, you authorise the displayed payment method to be charged $89.99 AUD on each renewal date. The renewal date is based on the initial purchase or the date displayed during signup. Taxes required by law are included or displayed as applicable.

5  Failed payments

If payment fails, we or the payment provider may retry the charge and may contact you to update payment details. We may suspend or cancel membership if payment is not successfully completed. No monthly parcel is owed for an unpaid billing cycle.

6  Cancelling

You may cancel at any time before the next renewal charge using the cancellation method available in your account or by contacting Maximum Minis. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Allow reasonable processing time when contacting us close to the renewal time.

7  Cancellation after renewal

If cancellation is requested after a monthly renewal has been charged, it applies to the following renewal. The current month’s selection will ordinarily still be produced and shipped, and no change-of-mind refund is provided for that billing cycle. This does not affect any remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law, including where a payment was unauthorised or goods fail a consumer guarantee.

8  Changes to price or material terms

Maximum Minis may change the subscription price, included shipping arrangement or other material terms by giving reasonable advance notice before the change applies to a renewal. You may cancel before the first affected renewal. A change will not be applied retrospectively to an amount already charged.

9  Product variation, availability and substitutions

The Mystery Club is intentionally variable. Maximum Minis may substitute a planned model where licensing, printability, quality control or availability prevents supply, provided the replacement selection meets the stated minimum retail value and size commitment. Model imagery used in advertising is illustrative unless expressly identified as the actual monthly selection.

10  Duplicate models and preferences

We may use available order history or preferences to reduce the chance of sending a model previously purchased from Maximum Minis, but we do not guarantee that every member will receive a model they do not already own unless an express duplicate-protection promise is stated at signup. We cannot reliably account for models purchased elsewhere. Preferences are requests only and do not guarantee a particular theme, character or model.

11  Dispatch and delivery

Monthly selections are printed to order. The expected preparation or dispatch window will be displayed on the Mystery Club page or communicated to members. Delivery times after dispatch are estimates. The general Shipping Policy applies to address errors, tracking, carrier delays, lost parcels and transit damage.

12  Returns, faults and damage

The surprise nature of the selection is not, by itself, grounds for a change-of-mind return. However, subscription products remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law. Contact us if a parcel is missing, arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, is materially different from the subscription description or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee. The Returns and Refunds Policy applies.

13  Pausing

A right to pause is not included unless a pause option is expressly made available in your account or confirmed by Maximum Minis in writing. If you do not want the next month’s charge, cancel before renewal and rejoin later, subject to availability.

14  Ending or limiting the club

Maximum Minis may stop offering the Mystery Club, limit membership numbers, or cancel a membership for non-payment, fraud, misuse, repeated delivery failure or another reasonable operational reason. If we cancel after charging for a month and do not supply that month’s selection, we will refund the affected charge.
